Notes: This pic reminded me of caravanning holidays when I was younger: I think it was the wall. *shrugs* Totally unbeta’d, and written in fifteen minutes! (I’m packing to move. V stressful!)

“I don’t know why you thought this was a good idea, Merlin,” Arthur grumbled, as he lay across the lumpy seat of the caravan. “You know I hate camping.”

Merlin snorted lazily. “This is hardly camping, Arthur!”

Arthur rubbed his toes against Merlin’s ears. “I’m not in a stable, foundation-based building. And you expect me to wash in a bucket. And the toilet is fifteen minutes walk away! And you cooked breakfast on a tiny cooker. Trust me. I’m camping.”

Merlin walked his fingers up in the inside of Arthur’s thigh, tracing circles and nonsensical words into the flesh. “But you’re with me. Isn’t it worth it?” A slow smile spread across Merlin’s face.

Arthur groaned, as Merlin pressed a kiss to the curve of his calf. Merlin trailed his lips after his damn teasing fingers, until they stroked the soft skin across Arthur’s hipbone.

Crawling up between Arthur’s legs and kissing up his sternum, Merlin finished at his lips. “Thank you for indulging my ‘stupid holiday whims’,” he hovered above Arthur’s lips, his tone soft and seductive. “Next time, we’ll go to Bali,” and pressed his lips to Arthur’s.

Merlin nibbled at Arthur’s lips, before sliding along his jaw to the patch of skin below his ear. Biting down gently, Merlin licked the soreness away, and lowered his chest to Arthur’s.

Arthur let out a breathy sigh. “You are so worth it,” he mumbled, and brought his arms and legs up to wrap around Merlin’s slighter frame.

Moving is total he'll - also, I realised that I have more books than clothes. Seriously. Five boxes of books plus a suitcase of collections, compared to two small holdalls of clothes. Are my priorities skewed?!

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it! I think Merlin would be one of those guys who thinks camping is a tent, a groundsheet, a gas flame to cook over and plenty of mosquitos!! (I personally share Arthur's view - no foundation to the building? It's camping.)
